Today I have two great news to share with you.
Hello Everybody!
The first great news - today Pink and Main is launching new products. This is a great release dedicated to nature lovers - campers and travellers and includes three sets of stamps and co-ordinating dies, the Herringbone Stencil and a set of Stitched Rectangles Dies 2 nesting perfectly with the Dies Set 1.
In this post I am showcasing the Timber stamps and co-ordinatng dies set combined with a new stencil and the Rectangle Dies.
To begin my card I blended Distress ink through the Herringbone Stencil onto a light green top folded card note.
I used a mix of Peeled Paint, Forest Moss and Black Soot inks for blending. (I list all the supplies at the end of the post)
Next, I die cut and stamped a lumberjack from the Timber stamps and dies set as well as several accessory images.
All images are stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento ink, which is alcohol marker friendly, and coloured almost flat with Copic Sketch markers.
Colouring this beardy guy was a frolic. Look at his shirt!
Now onto finishing the card.
I die cut a mat with the Stitched rectangles Set 2 from a piece of a white cardstock, blended a mix of Distress inks to create a setting for my lumberjack and stamped down Timber! and Happy Birthday from the Timber stamps set.
To assemble my card I matted the stitched panel with a red cardstock piece and foam mounted it to the card base.
Then popped the lumberjack with a foam tape and glued accessory stamps around.
As a final step I decorated the card with a mix of Dazzling Metallic Sequins ( MFT | AMZUS ), that are matching this forest green colour palette perfectly and adding a nice shine to my card.
