How to colour simply an intricate floral stamp?
Is there a simple way to watercolour a big floral stamp impression with many details for a shy colourist?
Intricate floral stamps are intimidating me sometimes. I believe I need a lot of time in my craft room alone to enjoy calm colouring. Some days I am short of time or simply cannot disconnect myself to find pleasure in colouring.
Today I am sharing extremely simple technique for colouring floral stamps that brings spectacular result and pleasure of paper crafting.
This card is inspired by AAA Cards Challenge #125 and we suggest you to make a card based on a TV Show.
I consider Planet Earth series created by BBC and David Attenborough a documentary masterpiece.
The Beautiful Flowers 2 by Simon Says Stamp, a lavish floral stamps set, reminded me of Planet Earth series. So did the quote from Emerson from One with Nature stamps set.
First I trimmed a Mixed Media card stock panel down to 3 3/8" by 4 3/4". Then I stamped down the floral branch in archival ink.
To position the quote stamp horizontally I covered the panel with a transparent grid and next stamped down the phrase in archival ink too.
I decided to colour the floral image with Brusho Crystal Colour. There is no need for painting skills to create fantasy colouring with Brushos.
Brusho Crystal Colour are very intense powder pigment colours which can be used for various surfaces, cardstock, fabrics, even wood.

Brusho Crystal Colour are very intense powder pigment colours which can be used for various surfaces, cardstock, fabrics, even wood.
The best technique to work with these fine powders is to spritz a panel lightly with water and then sprinkle a tiny amount of powder.
Crystals stick to humid surface and start dissolving. To intensify colour spritz the panel again.
For my quick colouring I used crystals in Yellow, Leaf Green and Scarlet.
