AAA Cards | Game #104

And the theme of a new game at AAA Cards #104 is Christmas.

This card was inspired by Jennifer's Flap Card video tutorial. My Instagram followers have seen already a similar card with a bigger ornament HERE.

Tips on Making This Card:

• Trim the panel from the soft grey card stock down to 4 1/4 by 5 1/2" (10 by 14 cm)
• Stamp down the medium sized motif in ink matching the shade of the panel
• Trim the card base from white card stock down to 6 1/2 by 4 1/2" (16.6 by 11.5 cm) and score it horizontaly
• Stamp down the diamond motif in lighter ink. Then apply a darker shade of ink to the stamp and dub off partially ink with a paper towel and stamp down to the first impression. 
• Stamp the sentiment in dark grey ink
• Adhere the card down to the base using X-Press It Double Sided Tape

EXTRA TIP:

For this technique it is better to use separate geometrical stamps or sentiment stamps, as Laurie did for this card.

Как сделать такую открытку?

• Обрежьте панель из светло-серого кардстока до размера 10 на 14 см
• Сделайте оттиски узоров чернилами в тон панели
• Открытку из белого кардстока обрежьте до размера 16.6 by 11.5 cм и сделайте горизонтальный сгиб
• Сделайте оттиск части орнамента из ромбов более светлыми чернилами. Затем нанесите более темные чернила на штамп и, промокнув чернила бумажной салфеткой, сделайте повторный оттиск
• Надпись выполнена темно-серыми чернилами
• Приклейте открытку к панели двухсторонней лентой X-Press It 

Дополнительный совет:

Для этой техники лучше всего подойдут геометрические узоры или штампы-надписи, как это сделала Лори для этой открытки.

Inspired by All the Little Things | Guest Designer

Today I am very glad to join the Celebration at Inspired by... All the Little Things blog as a Guest Designer for the challenge #50.

Our inspiration for this challenge is the following:

I think this is a great picture for inspiration with so many various elements to use. I liked the lights, the greenery framing the installation and the striped green and white celebration cake. I made an effort to incorporate these elements in my card.

На мой взгляд великолепное фото для вдохновения с большим количеством элементов. Меня зацепили огоньки на фоне, зеленый плющ, обрамляющий инсталляцию и праздничный торт с зелеными слоями. Все эти элементы я попыталась использовать в своей работе. 

This card is created with minimal stamping and several colouring media. I heat embossed in gold Confetti Toss by Papertrey Ink and used an elegant word die Celebrate from the same company. The wreath is coloured with Brusho crystals and die cut using Reverse Confetti die. 

Эта работа выполнена с минимальным штампингом - только золотые конфетти от Papertrey Ink. Для надписи я использовала элегантный рож той же компании, а для надписи - нож от Reverse Confetti. Венок раскрашен пигментными порошками Brusho.

AAA Cards | Game #84

A new AAA Cards Game #84 commenced. And we challenge you to use watercolours for your creations.

В чб AAA Cards стартовала новая игра #84. И мы предлагаем использовать акварель для создания ваших работ.

Watercolours is a challenge by itself for many card makers, and for me also. Although I do enjoy various water diluted media. My latest addiction is colouring with Brusho pigment powders. These are highly concentrated pigment powders that can be diluted in water on a palette or directly on paper.

Акварель - уже сама по себе челлендж (вызов) для многих кардмейкеров, и я не исключение. Хотя мне и нравится использовать водорастворимые краски. Мое последнее увлечение - пигментные порошки Brusho. Это высоко-концентрированные пигментные кристаллы, которые можно разводить в воде на палитре для светлых оттенков или прямо на бумаге - для более ярких оттенков.

For this card I used Fresh Bouquet stamp set by Papertrey Ink from December 2016 release. This set contains an outline image, several stamps for layered flowers stamping and beautiful sentiments. I used only an outline image stamp.

Для этой открытки я использовала новый набор Fresh Bouquet от Papertrey Ink. В набор входит контурный штамп, штампы для послойной печати цветов и несколько элегантных надписей. Я сделала оттиски только контурным штампом для последующего раскрашивания.

I love adding texture to my cards. For this card I used coarse embossing enamel for flowers centers. Working with coarse embossing enamel you do not have to use embossing ink, but sprinkle an image using a cocktail straw and heat it from beneath. Or drop clear water, sprinkle enamel and heat it as usually from above.

Мне нравится добавлять фактуру даже к КАСовым работам. Обычно для работы с эмалью крупного помола не требуются чернила для эмбоссинга. Эмаль рассыпают соломинкой для напитков и греют бумагу снизу. В этот раз я слегка смочила серединки цветов, насыпала крупно-зернистую эмаль и запекла её.

When my card was ready and assembled, I understood that a few gold strokes are needed. Gansai Tambi Gold is the best for adding a few accents.

Уже полность склеив открытку, я поняла, что не хватает мягких золотых акцентов. Золотая акварель Gansai Tambi как нельзя лучше для этого подходит.
