To make this card I started with stamping down a poppy and a bud from Pure Poppies stamps set in a very light ink and covering them with masks.
Then I masked the edge of the card panel with low tack Purple Tape and blended two shades of Distress inks through Bubbles Stencil.

To achieve this soft blended background look I repositioned the stencil a few times, layering bubbles over and over.
This stencil helps to create an amazing background easily. I suggest starting with a very light ink and use the bigger bubbles. Then gradually increase the colour saturation and use an area with smaller openings.
Next I removed all the masks and coloured the flower and the bud with pencils.

The sentiment from Clear Decorated Wishes - mixed add-on ( CRT ) is stamped in black archival ink for crisp impression.
I dry embossed the border with a scoring board along the stencilled area to create a raised frame.
To finish off the card I glued the panel to a black card note.
