STAMPlorations CAS Card Challenge #2 - Reminder

We are in the midway of our February CAS Card Challenge at STAMPlorations and our challenge is Anything CAS Goes with optional colour twist - RED:

You are not required to use STAMPlorations products, however we are always happy to see your creations with STAMPlorations stamps and stencils. Winner will be invited to be a Guest Designer in a future challenge.

My card features STAMPlorations recently released stamp set New Beginnings. I heat embossed the rising sun image on a piece of a cardstock in white and sponged a mix of Distress inks over it. Firstly, I masked out the sea and used Squeezed Lemonade, Mustard Seed, Spiced Marmalade and Festive Berries to colour the Sun. Then I masked out the Sun and blended Chipped Sapphire and Faded Jeans to colour the sea. I fussy cut out the panel, stamped the sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black down to the card base and the birds in StazOn Jet Black.
I love the beautiful contrast two colour families are creating.

Я использовала в своей работе свежий набор штампов от STAMPlorations - New Beginnings. Я сделала оттиск и горячее тиснение белой пудрой изображения на кусочке кардстока и нанесла Distress чернила мини апликаторами. Сначала я закрыла маской море и растушевала Distress чернила оттенков Squeezed Lemonade, Mustard Seed, Spiced Marmalade и Festive Berries. Затем наоборот закрыла солнце и нанесла Chipped Sapphire и Faded Jeans. Вырезала панель. Надпись сделана чернилами Memento Tuxedo Black, а птицы - StazOn Jet Black.
Очень красивый контраст, на мой взгляд, получается при использовании теплых оттенков рядом с Chipped Sapphire.
