Stencilling on Acetate | Guest Designer Addicted to CAS

Today I am glad to join Addicted to CAS Challenge as a Guest Designer and to share a Clean and Simple card with stencilling a glitter paste onto an acetate sheet.

Today I am very glad to return to one of my favourite Design Teams - Addicted to CAS as a Guest Designer!

The Code Woed for the next two weeks - Apples.
Ключевое слово в течение следующих двух недель - Яблоки.

I created a one-layer card using several products by STAMPlorations. First I heat embossed the sentiment from Holiday Expressions: Thankful for Autumn set in fine gold powder. Then stamped the apples from Be Thankful set in black archival ink and covered them with the fussy cut Inkadinkado paper mask. Using washi tape masked off the edges of the card and applied Hearts All Over Stencil by ARTplorations. Blended Distress inks through the stencil.

Я сделала открытку-однослой с разными продуктами от американской компании STAMPlorations. В первую очередь я заэмбоссила надпись из набора штампов Holiday Expressions: Thankful for Autumn с тонкой золотой пудрой. Затем сделала оттиск яблок из комплекта Be Thankful архивными чернилами и закрыла его самодельной маской из бумаги Inkadinkado. С помощью бумажного скотча замаскировала поля открытки, которые должны остаться чистыми, и через трафарет Hearts All Over Stencil от ARTplorations нанесла чернила Distress.

Tip: one-layer cards do not forgive stamping mistakes. Try to start a card with the most difficult step. For this card heat embossing is the most complicated step, which I started with. Secondly, embossing powder likes clean card stock. Card stock remains invisibly sticky after washi tape removing. Emboss first, then mask off this area with washi tape.

Совет: открытки-однослой совсем не прощают ошибки, поэтому начинайте с самого сложного шага. Для этой открытки эмбоссинг тонкой пудрой - самый сложный шаг, с которого я и начала работу. К тому же бумага после удаления бумажного скотча остается незаметно липкой. Лучше выполнить горячее тиснение, а затем уже закрывать его скотчем.

I really like Fall stamps by STAMPlorations and made two more cards with these apples. Yesterday in my Instagram I shared the coloured apples as an element for one of the cards. Come back soon to see both cards.

Addicted to CAS | #96

It's time for a new Addicted to CAS  challenge. And I am happy to be your hostess and I suggested a Code Word:

В чб Addicted to CAS сегодня вышло новое задание, и на этот раз слово-подсказка от меня - УРОЖАЙ.

I created this card with a new set of stamps Autumn Pumpkin by Papertrey Ink. I stamped pumpkins in two steps - first inking a stamp in one tone, and for the second step inking the complete stamp in the same tone and sponging a darker tone as a shadow only to one side of the stamp. For this technique I like to combine dye inks and Distress inks. My personal opinion is that DIs blends better than regular dye inks.

Для этой работы я использовала новый набор штампов Autumn Pumpkin от компании Papertrey Ink. Все сплошные оттиски тыкв я делала в два шага. Первый оттиск обычными водорастворимыми чернилами, а второй - в комбинации с чернилами Distress. То есть с начала я покрывала чернилами весь штамп, а затем аппликатором наносила цветовые акценты чернилами Distress. На мой взгляд, такая комбинация дает лучшее смешение оттенков и более мягкие переходы.
