Today we are doing a Baby Hop at STAMPLorations for our teammate and talented stamps designer Deepti Malik. Siddharth Malik was born on January 29. He is a healthy boy weighing in at 7.3 lbs and measuring 19.75 inches. Mommy and baby are doing fine and soon will be going home.

I am sending my heartfelt congratulations to Deepti and Vikas on the arrival of a newborn baby and the very best wishes to Siddharth. May his future be bright and happy, and only good, kind and wise men surround him.

I created this card by light sponging of Distress Ink in Cracked Pistachio to a card panel and heat embossing the flower from STAMPlorations stamps set Folk Flowers in gold. Then I stamped down the stem of the flower bending it and the sentiment from Fond Expressions 2 in Tuxedo Black Memento ink. I stamped repeatedly the flower down to a small piece of CS in Chipped Sapphire and sponged it with Salty Ocean. To add more depth I sketched shadow lines with Distress Marker in Chipped Sapphire. Then the flower was fussy cut out and adhered with a foam tape. My favourite way to raise Wow! factor is using coarse embossing enamels instead of sprays. This time I used Stampendous Chunky Gold enamel.

Для создания этой открытки я сначала затонировала слегка фон Distress чернилами оттенка Cracked Pistachio. Потом сделала горячее тиснение цветка из набора штампов Folk Flowers от STAMPlorations золотом и сделала оттиски надписи набора Fond Expressions 2 и стебля, изогнув штамп на акриловом блоке. Повторно напечатала цветок на кусочке кардстока, затонировала оттиск дистрессами оттенка Salty Ocean и пририсовала тень маркером Chipped Sapphire. Вырезала ножницами и посадила на вспененный скотч. Наверно, вы уже заметили по моим работам последней пары месяцев, я люблю добавлять грубую эмаль вместо спреев. Для завершения работы я присыпала и расплавила Stampendous Chunky Gold эмаль.

Today I am sharing a card inspired by CAS(E) This Sketch and IN{K}SPIRE_me challenges. Not so often I can combine colour scheme challenges and sketches. However this time I did it easily.

Сегодня я показываю открытку, вдохновленную сразу двумя конкурсами CAS(E) This Sketch и IN{K}SPIRE_me. Мне не часто удается сочетать цветовые задания и скетчи. Но в этот раз получилось легко и просто.

I used a "staple' stamp set Botanicals 3 and Congratilations die by Paper Smooches to create this card. I find solid flowers and leaves stamps a LBD for every card-maker.

Для работы я использовала набор штампов Botanicals 3 и нож Congratilations от Paper Smooches. Я считаю, что удачный набор сплошных штампов с изображениями цветов и листвы это как маленькое черное платье в гардеробе женщины, неотъемлемая часть.

The card was inspired by CAS(E) This Sketch #157 Challenge:

I had to make it horizontal to fit a long die cut onto my card panel.
