The Spring has sprung here finally, nevertheless...
Hello Everybody!
Hello Everybody!
I am playing with this delicate snow drop stamp by Clearly Besotted.
I simply stamped an image on a white card note in the Memento ink and softly coloured the image with the Copic Sketch markers.
To match the softness of the image and create a realistic Spring setting I filled the shaker with the ice flakes.

I trimmed a piece of the Simon Says Stamp card stock to 4" by 5 1/4" and die cut an opening with one of the Nested Circle dies.
To assemble the shaker I used an acetate binding cover and the Sizzix Foam adhesive sheet( SSS | AMZUS ).
This foam sheet was included into the Simon Says Stamp Card Kit. I was very curios to test it, because I am using foam adhesives often and previously struggled with die cutting adhesive foam sheets.
This sheet reminds felt and is very easy to cut, one single run through my Big Shot was enough to cut it through. The glue does not stain a die.
I also noticed how easy it was to remove the backing sheet. I still have some other foam adhesive sheets, and use them rarely, because it is close to impossible to lift a protective layer.
I am happy that Simon Says Stamp gives this opportunity to the Card Kit subscribers to test new craft supplies.

Thank you so much, I am following you back :)
DeleteKsenija, I know just how perfect this little scene is - often these darlings are popping up from the snow where I live! [I do hope we've seen the last of the flakes for the season!]
ReplyDeleteIt is so gorgeous!
