Ink blending is a common technique today. Some inks are easy to blend, but some shades are not blending well. Today I share a very useful tip for blending complimentary colours.

Tips on Making This Card:
- Start with stamping a sentiment and images down onto a white card stock panel.
- Continue with masking off the stamped images with masks made from a special paper.
- With a help of low tack tape mask off the card panel keeping open a vertical stripe.
- Softly blend the lightest Distress ink shades. I used Tumbled Glass and Spun Sugar.
- Add more intensive shades of inks closer to the edges. I added Salty Ocean and Picked Raspberry.
- If blending is not your best skill, use a horizontal image to hide the border between complementary colours, for example an open book.
- Keeping all masks in place apply a glitter paste through a stencil and remove all masks.
- Glitter pastes air dry quicker than regular embossing pastes. Shortly after you can colour the images.
- To finish off the card pop the panel up with a foam tape.
